The reviews that I have read mostly indicate that it picks up the repeaters in big cities quite well but I haven't seen any tests when satellite is the only option.
Sirius mobile reception is 10x better than XM on Vancr Island. XM programming is 2X better than Sirius. XM harware is 5x cooler than Sirius.
I prefer Sirius just for the reception in my car. Have XM in my office where reception in no problem.
