I kind of liked the article. It was like a bunch of FT posts pulled together to create something.

First a brief description on how someone can become UGS (and what that means in terms of benefits).

Then a funny post about making a UA bathroom in someone's home.

Then a post about an equipment change and how the problem got resolved (we see lots of those).

Finally, a post about some lady on a plane who wouldn't move when asked and gave a dirty look.

Reading it that way, it was like FT in a news article form.
