Have you checked SEA-PDX? It's also absurdly expensive! Ah, where is Southwest or Westjet (or any other LCC) when you need them?

Have you checked bus or train fares from YVR-SEA? I believe that there is a bus service that goes directly to Seatac from Vancouver.
