"First Class" to Asia? Is it even possible?

Alright.. You all have been EXTREMELY helpful in giving me the information I need to get to Thailand in May 2007 (5/20 - 6/2) for our honeymoon.

But, I am getting a bunch of conflicting information from CO, Co.com, Elite Desk and FT (yes, it's true!). Sometimes "searching" produces conflicts alone

So, here's my questions. Thanks in advance for the help.

We wouild like to take the most COMFORTABLE flight and I'd like to know which airlines we can actually book a FC (true "First Class") ticket in. We would take a BF or BC seat, assuming there comfy (NW, KE, etc.)

1. Can we redeem CO miles for "F" not "J" (business) on Emirates? I called the elite desk and they said that if we redeem the points (120K RT each) they would give us "F" if it is available (many of you said that it would be not available for miles).

2. Can we fly over the atlantic/europe to see if we can get a true "F" seat (maybe on another airline?).

3. When should we begin actively acquiring these reward seets. CO Elite desk stated that we should call on June 20th to start the process.

Or, since I am using a marriott travel package to an additional 240K miles, I could also convert them to any airline and see if I have any better chance of getting a true "F" class seat that way.

I know some of you have had luck, others not so good luck.

I'm trying to make the most out of this travel time on our honeymoon, so First class would be a sweet start and end. - DAMN IS THIS REWARD PROCESS PAINFUL!

Thanks for the HELP!!!
