I'm looking at dates in early August and the lowest r/t fare is $368CAD (or $335 USD)!?! Granted, that same fare is what UA, AC, & NW are quoting for YVR-SEA. (120 miles)
In previous years, that route was usually somewhere around $120-150, tops.
I can appreciate that there are extra fuel costs etc. but I find that a fare on a 30 min. Horizon flight to be grossly expensive; I could get to ORD, ATL or MSP for less. My YVR-SEA-KTN flight is going to be double what I paid for that past few years...almost $900 CAD r/t vs. $450 last year.
