Once we took the train from Aomori to Hakodate and returned via ferry. Unfortunately, it was a low-speed ferry which took about 4 hours. If I remember correctly, it took about 4 hours, and everything on the boat was closed - the snack bar, the arcade, etc. Also, there were no seats in our section. We just sat on the floor and watched TV. It was a memorable experience.
