For those of you who sign up a CC, make a purchase, take the bonus mile, cancel the card, there is some extra $$ along the way that you can pick up without too much effort.

I happened to open one of the junk mail from Chase today, which tried to sign me up for the payment protection plan with a $20 bonus. Normally, I just throw those away, since I don't want to bother cancelling it within 30 days or get hit with $0.89 for every $100 charged on the card. But, this offer is for my UA MP card, which I only used once and about to cancel.

The term says if the account is cancelled, so is the protection, which is perfect for me.
