The comp upgrade is what im banking on. I am an MVPG so lets hope I can get to the top of the waitlist
Btw- It is SJC-SEA flight, so not too long. I can manage 2hrs in coach, I have to do it every once in a while when I cannot get an upgrade. Thanks
You may be able to call the Gold desk and explain the situation and see if the rep can upgrade you. I think I was able to do this once last year when I was MVPG and traveling on a NW ticket. It may also depend on fare class, or just who answers the phone.
Best of luck, I flew SJC-SEA probably 20 times last fall as MVPG and was about 40-50% for upgrades. Your upgrade chances will be much better if it is a midweek flight.
