It is with mixed feelings, my fellow beer swilling Asia travellers, that I pass on a report that a brewery for Tiger beer is being built in Lao PDR.

While I personally like Tiger beer just fine and I'm a big believer in competition, there's something that seems not quite right about drinking any other beer than Beerlao in Lao. Oh well, life goes on.
