We each will have our own experiences with AS flights but I'm 3 for 5 on getting upgrades using my AS/NW Plat certificates over the last two years. SNA-OAK on a Saturday noon, PDX-LAX on Sunday noon, and SEA-ANC on a Tuesday midday.
And the clubs are great -- SEA, PDX, and ANC. What amazed me about ANC is that everyone knew everyone else -- like a big party.
