You can try booking some of the more 'normal' fares and try to milk them for as much mileage as you can....

EG) I found today a BUF-LAS, was around 355$ all-in, and just over 9000base EQM.... So if you're getting the double miles AND Elite bonues, you can get 27,000RDM for that, about 1.3cpm.... not bad for summer.

For the most part, there's not a lot (any that i can find) cheap UA fares around.... quite a few on DL/NW though
