Thanks for the advice on Kobe. It looked far away from Kansai, but if there's direct connection, it's more doable. How often does it run, and how much does it cost? I guess the question is whether we'd rather have the 5 minute walk to the Nikko after a long, long travel day or a bus ride to a nicer hotel with more to do around it...
