No one would voluntarily give up a slot at NRT, the slots there are hugely valuable. So I would expect AA to do everything possible to add a flight to NRT from somewhere else and you gotta believe the most obvious location is DFW, since there is quite a bit of service out of ORD already.

Although I vaguely recall that there was a reason why this flight originated at SJC instead of SFO, it was restricted to originate at that airport for some reason. Anyone else remember the details?
