As I wrote before, it's documented on www.lufthansa.com and I have a letter dated 16/05/2006 signed by Rosane O'Grady on behalf of "Lufthansa Customer Relations Centre Europe" that confirms explicitely that Star Gold are allowed to the LHR SEN lounge. This is in line with www.staralliance.com where only CDG and STR are mentionned now.

How about sending a fax to LH customer service U.K. (Fax 0208 616 9016) like I did? I'm sure you'll get the same letter.
Have you actually tried accessing the SEN lounge as (non-SEN/HON) *G ?

I personally know both the ladies incharge of that lounge, and I can promise you that they send all *G to the Business lounge daily.
