Oh, I realize that. It's nice that the option exists (for those that want to do MRs). I did some several years back, and see them as pointless now- I'd rather just go somewhere for a weekend trip. Trips to NRT are for business, and the last thing I want is 7.5 extra hours (plus any layover). So, for those those that want it's there. For those that enjoyed the shorter flight, I still contend that this development of far from sweet
