Duplicate Seat on UX = No Flight Credit?

I was MRing this weekend, with the last leg on a UX SkyWest EMB. I was assigned seat 7A, and was one of the first to board. A while into boarding, a lady comes to 7A and says that she was assigned the same seat. I said I would be more than happy to go fix it with the GA, but instead the FA said the flight was not sold to capacity, so she just sat somewhere else on the plane, and off we went.

I didn't think much of it until now--that segment still hasn't posted to my account. (While it was the last segment on my itin, the other 5 posted a while ago).

Could these occurrences be related? Should I call MP CS?
