Yes - the second benefit of power ports in planes and trains is that it allows you to charge the batteries
as you work. If you have a three-hour journey, for example, you arrive at your destination with a fully charged battery, instead of a depleted one. In my case, because I use an iGo Juice with the phone/PDA extension, I can charge my laptop, my cell phone, my bluetooth headset and my PDA in the span of those three hours.
