So if half of them go off at a time, there could be a situation where there are only 4 on duty.
There are 4 galleys (the big one next to select seating zone, 1 at row 25, 1 at row 45 and 1 upstairs) so theoretically every galley should be manned.
But perhaps the FA's were so bored that there were two in one galley, leaving the other unattended.
Or she/he ate something wrong and spent 20 mins on the loo (hence the bad mood upon return...)
Or she/he liked the cockpit crew and went to "entertain" them.
Or...

oh yeah !!!!!!

Like the flight from AMS to BKK in C class, where the meals were literally slung at us and everything packed away in record time so the whole damm crew were able to get some sleep. Two Finnish passengers could not get service so opened a bottle of duty free from the overhead locker. Two Dutch guys in front of them complained to them as this was not allowed and the next thing you have 4 men knocking six bells out of each other.

BY the time to bursor had dragged herself out of her bunk bed it was all over and all she did was complain about the fact her crew needed sleep and why dont the passengers sleep.

OR

Another flight same route in C class again. two thirds of the biz class in the downstairs dissapeared into the galley and partied for most of the flight making sure even the back of cattle class could hear them. Turned out mainly friends of the crew.

At least with Asian airlines, CI BR SQ CX they come round evey 20 mins max to make sure everyone is OK and check if they need anything to eat or drink. ON CI they even clean the toilets every 30 minutes.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmm remind me again why I stopped flying KLM ?

Or hgow about the lovely greeting I and a colleague got on boarding an MD 11 to SFO to be loudly asked "where do you two think you are going " ??? as the cabin went silent and everyone watched my colleague quickly turned around thrust the two boarding passes under her nose and said " 1A and 1B ****, where are you sitting "
