So what's going on with this since the last post on May 16? Can anyone who's done 1-800-checkin during the last couple of weeks tell us if they were given a room number or not?

At some hotels I know enough room numbers to know if it's a room I want or not - and some I know to avoid. The best thing about 1-800 checkin was how they would go to bat for you against the hotel staff to get you a good room. If Hyatt does this it will probably eliminate the usefulness of 1-800-Checkin for me.
