I'm looking for a slim bag to fit my MacBook Pro 15.4. I found a company called Brenthaven that has a product called the Edge. It looks like a good fit. Is anyone familiar with this product or brand?


I retired my beloved Carlton shoulder bag when I got the MBP as the sleeve that came with the bag didn't fit the puter.

I also bought a laptop trolley in YYZ in March and the sleeve included does not fit either.

So I found a belkin shoulder brief I figured might fit in the trolley - no such luck. But the brief looked good and had plenty of compartments for pens and things. I've used it once.

The shoulder strap buckles make a horrible clicking noise when worn cross the body and walking. Makes the hair on my neck stand up as I'm worried that it will break.

So.... Here I am with all these bags that do not fit!

Until....

I find an incase bag on an ebay shop yesterday. It's the slim sleeve 15". Seller didn't know if it would fit the MBP. I checked other sites and on apple it says it does. So I took the plunge and bought it.

It arrived less than an hour ago. Fits the MBP superbly. Slips right in to my beloved Carlton bag, which is now out of retirement andfits the trolley too. Retractable padded handles and a shoulder strap so can use it alone or throw in a carry on or tote.

So if anyone else out there is looking for a sleeve for your MBP, have a look in the apple store. They sell them there.

And no I am not endorsed by any of the above brands. I'm just a bag junkie.
