Problem with "no annual fee" Amex

I recently took advantage of the Amex/Delta promo offering a Skymiles American Express card with no annual fee the first year plus 10,000 bonus miles. Problem is, the online record shows the $85 annual fee. Called Amex and they "will have to investigate". Forunately, I saved the web page which I used to apply for the card and it clearly states in big, bold letters "ENJOY NO ANNUAL FEE FOR THE FIRST YEAR". You would think a major promo like this would be well known by the customer service folks at Amex. In fact, it should have been programmed into the computer so the $85 fee would never have appeared. This just makes more work for everyone concerned. I was just curious as to whether any of you have experienced the same problem.
