i believe that with platinum you only pay for the first additional card, then the rest are free.

on the other hand, I must say I love my platinum card when I travel. The 2 for 1 has always been great when I go overseas, and the lounge access is wonderful since I live right near a major CO hub. I honestly love what they give us, but I think they could add more for the 395 a year, but I definately would say its worth it.
