I hoofed it to the gate of the very delayed Alaska SEA-SFO flight and got on with the door shutting on my posterior end, and I settled into my not-so FC seat of 16C. Still, I got to the Bay Area, and that is what counts, right?
Here is where they really messed up. Because I flew into SFO instead of SJC, the computer canceled my reservation for the return out of SJC, and so when I arrived at the airport yesterday afternoon, they had no clue who I was. After 20 minutes of explaining, they attributed it to their own errors, but I lost my confirmed 1A seat, and ended up in 26C (back o' the bus). And, I was put on standby for the SEA-YEG portion since it was oversold. I eventually got on, and the darn flight was 1.5 h late arriving after 1 am.
I wrote a note to Alaska which is really pointless since I will never fly them again.
OH, and GO OILERS!
Ok, so I shouldn't fly out of YEG with AS, why? You just explained incidents that have nothing to do with the airport itself.
