I will preface this by saying that I am currently in the IAH Terminal E President's Club, using my Amex Platinum to get in. To me the airport lounge access it totally worth it, if you are living in a hub city of CO, NWA or DL. With that said, I gave myself an ultimatem before upgrading, which was I wouldn't upgrade unless they gave me a substantial amount of MR bonus points (I got 25k). If you didn't get an bonus offer (I didn't) call up Amex and say that you would like an incentive to upgrade, see what they say. Anyways I'm heading back to the PC bar!
