No sun today, unfortunately, and a little on the cool side for sitting outdoors. As holidays go, this one could certainly have had better weather!
I went to the Orangerie last Sunday, got there when the line was relatively short and it still took 2 hours of waiting to get in. When I came out, the line went all the way past the pond in the Tuileries! Not sure if those poor folks made it in at all that day. Of course, I can't say how typical that was because (a) it was a Sunday, (b) the reopening had been heavily publicized, and (c) it was the last day of free admission in honor of the reopening.
