I am flying from LGW tomorrow after working in the City and I am trying to decide which is likely to be quicker, more reliable and more comfortable. My choice is to jump on the Circle Line to Victoria and pick up the GEX or walk across London Bridge and pick up the First Capital Connect Train formerly known as Thameslink. This thread is not completely OT since I will in fact be taking a BA flight
Having once endured a journey on FCC to Brighton, I am none to keen on using this delay prone and uncomfortable (and this was in First Class) service again. On the other hand it will take me longer to get to Victoria than it will to walk across the bridge and get the FCC train. Since journey times are identical, what is the recommended approach. I will be coming back on Tuesday morning, when I intend to take the Southern railways train to London Bridge (no Southern Railways Trains seem to be available on this route however departing before 5pm on Friday afternoon).
Since this is a train query, I know I really should be posting on the BD board, but HEX queries seem allowable here
