Just a note---

You guys can't really think that the President actually decides exactly when he's going someplace, where he's going, and how he's going to get there, can you?

Because I'm hear to tell you POTUS has nothing to do with logistics whatsoever. He'll ok an event and a general location, sure, but that's it. He goes on whatever aircraft is waiting for him, lands when the WH Military Offices says he's going to land, etc.


I feel the need to say this because reading some of these posts makes me think some of you are sitting there picturing President Bush saying "ok, well, I want to go Philly at 3:30, so get Air Force One ready, I'm flying into PHL."

That's just not how it works.
