I remember back in the 70's, Jimmy Carter paid a visit to a private home in my suburban hometown and met with neighbors. There was an entourage of limos parked outside the house all with engines running, the neighborhood was blocked off and this was also in the middle of the gasoline crisis back then (remember alternate days of being able to buy gas?). Well the first question he was asked by one of the neighbors was why are all of your limos outside running when we're in the middle of a gas crisis??

I have been messed up in several airports by the presence of AF1 and it isn't fun. Also on closed highways when a prez motorcade is driving through from the airport. Personally, I think Bush should just stay home and figure out the problems in the country, but then that's just my personal opinion that I'm sure at least 50% of you don't care about.
