My airline loyalty of the day has zero impact on where I choose to live or work. I cannot imagine declining a work assignment just because my favorite airline doesn't serve the destination. Whatever happened to working because that's your job?

If I had to move and were undecided on the destination, a hub of my favorite airline of the day would actually be a negative, because that means I would not be able to change planes. This would mean fewer flights and less frequent flier miles earned.

I used the term "airline loyalty of the day" because it does change over time (not literally every day). In the last 8 years my favorite airline loyalty has been AA, CO, US, DL and UA (in that order, currently UA).
