Surely for most of us, it's the opposite. Where we live dictates our choice of primary airline.

I did have a friend who was a consultant to the heallth care industry. His employer was ok with him living in the airline hub of his choice. So, he moved from STL to CLT. Good move, lifestyle-wise. Not as good, airline-wise.
