i hope the title didn't confuse folks but here goes....

june 28/sfo-iad at 7:50am on 950 and iad-cdg on 914 at 5:50pm for a cousins's wedding and am under instructions from goalie-dad to "bring the family scotch" (yuck, but i digress) as peace offering as he won't be attending.

will i be able to buy at sfo as opposed to buying at iad after i arrive? if i can, when does the shop open and i assume it will be in the int'l terminal (bummer as i'll be leaving from ua domestic).

it was nice in the old days as there used to be a duty free shop in macy's at union square where you could buy and have it delivered to you at the gate on day of departure
