I think that for a nice, highly-functional carryon at a reasonable price you can't go wrong. I have a 22" Travelpro Walkabout Lite which I paid about $125 for. It's great for 3-4 days/nights travel if you pack lightly and is easy to maneuver through the airport.
After wearing out 2 cheap 22" rollerboards in less than 2 years I bought this same bag and I think it is perfect for the 3-4 days or less. I am 6'5" so even just a few clothing items tend to take up lots of space but this bag still works. So long as I don't want to pack more than 1 or 2 pairs of shoes.
My favorite thing is that it is significantly lighter than most bags.
