I'm always struck by a contrast I have noticed while walking through Concourse A. It is dominated by local airlines such as Frontier, and Great Lakes Airlines (world class, not), and the exotic destinations they serve. Then it the middle of it all are the Lufthansa and British Airways jets at gates that hardly represent an international presence.
I always thought it was a terrific move on UA's part to hold on to the Concourse A gates restricting Frontier's operations. However, I can see the inconvenience to UA customers changing planes from TED to mainline (or mainline to TED). Please, don't turn my favorite gates (B30-32, B34-36) into TED gates.
