My grandmother stayed in a modern room and still raved about it, although her tastes are generally more traditional. We got a very good dollar for pound rate (e.g., the rate was $350 when it should have been 350 GBP at the time). Location is great on Sloane Street.
I have to disagree.....
The Cadogan is NOT a luxury hotel though it does tend to think it is... service issues abound and with only a small wall mounted ac unit to keep a room cool in a hot London summer's night, it is not the most comfortable of choices. I have stayed there twice; once on my own dime and the second on the hotel's and I left unimpressed even after the second stay.... though the Edward the 7th suite was quite nice (but certainly not worth the nightly rate!!)
P.S. I think it is GLA (Grace Leo Andrieu) Hotels and Resorts....
