Just completed my survey, giving an overall 5 rating out of 10. In the comments section I mentioned that I really don't fly Delta very often even though I'm PM. Tally so far this year. DL 0 segments; UA 18. I mentioned in the comments section that I would have remained a loyal customer as I have been since the early 1980's if Delta had not changed its SkyMiles program. For those years I flew DL even though fares were higher, non-stops from IAD were available only to ATL, CVG, or SLC, and upgrades were difficult to obtain.

I look at this entire matter is positive light though. I really like UA. With IAD as my airport of choice, there are many non-stop flights to my most frequent destinations, fares are less expensive, and although I have been very successful in obtaining upgrades, I can at least snag an economy plus seat when one isn't available, something DL doesn't even have.
