Earn 3.6 clubcard points per £ spend

Okay it's not quite as exciting as it sounds but it might be of interest to note that Tesco UK clubcards are accepted at Tesco Ireland store .. and seem to accrue points on a €1 = 1 point basis (or at least that's what it says on the till receipt - there's no way to check online is there?) ... and at £1=~€1.5 ... then you're converting at more more less £1 : 3.5points

Tesco Ireland aren't nearly as good at the bonus points offers etc. so it's not really that great .. and you're hardly going to go to DUB to do your shopping (though the biggest Tesco in Ireland is just across the road from the DUB Airport Hilton ) .. but if you are a regular commuter between the UK & Ireland and a Tesco shopper you might find it worthwhile ditching your Irish Tesco CC for a Uk Tesco CC to earn BA miles (Tesco IE clubcard deals are very crappy)
