Thanks for the recommendation - that looks like a pretty good base, and I might well check it out for a vacation spot later this year.

My LV trip at the Wynn was better than I expected. The outstanding part was my solo meal at Alex, where I really was treated very well indeed, and the food and wine far exceeded my expectations (which were already high). Daniel Boulud was also very good; I was able to eat outside and wasn't rushed at all. I had good experiences at the Parasol Down bar outside too; even though it was quite bustling, I was able to relax and read in comfort. They gave me a small table to myself and I certainly never feet pressured to leave despite the constant line-up at the entrance.
