I had Row 1 empty on my last (and 2nd) F flight so had a go in them, as well as 2A where I was. It felt more claustraphobic in 1A/K because you really are in the nose and the wardrobe blocks you in from the side.
Whilst the wardrobe does get used a bit, especially in the last 90 mins or so, I found it was relatively undisturbed for most of the flight.
You can speak to your partner more easily in 1A/K, although they are still 3 feet from you. In 2A/K they are 4-5 feet from you. In 4A/K they are next to you.
You also get a far better view at take-off and landing from 2, as you can see through your windows and the Row 1A/K windows in front of you.
