I sure am !

A few thoughts:

- Kelvin once told me a bit about his experience on "Airport"; he said it was back in the CP/CAI days and that he had "fun" in his role on the show;
- he added that when he joined AC it was made clear that no more such "acting" would be allowed;
- anyone who has met Kevin knows that he has a strong and flamboyant personality along with a great sense of humour that is well suited to his job, IMHO;
- having seen episodes of both "Airport" and "Airline", I can't for a moment believe that what you see is anything more than the usual semi-scripted nonensical reality TV c-r-a-p, so any events portrayed (i.e. questionable UGs, off-the-cuff remarks to pax or the camera, etc) are nothing more than make-believe;
- Kelvin and the rest of the LHR concierge team have been nothing but helpful to me and my colleagues when we have needed their assistance;
- it is true that UGs at LHR are managed very much "by the book", with NO exceptions (is that a good or a bad thing ? )

The OP is entitled to his opinion that what he saw on TV looked like a lot of nonsense (as it probably was that !), but he is stretching things a little if he goes so far as to give AC negative marks for something that has nothing to do with the company.

As for the use of the other derogatory terms...well, and re-

Despite our habitual nonsense and petty BS around here, nobody here ever stooped that low..... ^
