If you are looking for quietness away from the strip I can highly recommend the JW Marriott Las Vegas in Summerlin. It is located about 10 miles from the strip and has beautiful views of Red Rock Canyon. The rooms are more luxurious and bigger than the majority of the strips rooms (smallest room is 560 sqft).
