Yes. SPG is 0.5 SPG per 1 MR point. BMI is 1:1, so substantially better (assuming you were going to go via SPG into another airline scheme) especially as BMI redemption levels are lower than BA etc anyway.

You CAN get the transfer ratios on the website. You need to pretend you want to make a transaction - the ratio shows up on the first stage of the transaction process.
