Hope that's not the case since I'm booked KUL-LHR on MH in July. Last I had heard, MH had done some restructuring and the Malaysian government had stepped in to keep the carrier going with MH being forced to concentrate on long-haul international and domestic trunk lines, and Air Asia taking up the majority of the domestic and SE Asia market. Not sure where MH stands now in terms of their finances and operations, but they've always been a pleasure to fly and I was looking forward to trying out their new business class in July. I've always enjoyed MH more than either SQ or CX because the staff truly goes out of their way to make you comfortable and ensure you have an enjoyable flight. I do hope they pull themselves together and end up joining SkyTeam as they would easily end up as the highest quality partner in terms of in-flight product and service.
