The future is here already......

It seems QF is already forcing whY pax to use quick check machines and bag drop rather than with a real person here in MEL.This thread might be of use to highlight the point.

As for Internet check-in, I would be great as this represents another method for pax to check-in. BTW, does anyone know if you can still use SMS to check-in?
