I don't know which phone number that is that you called, but it doesn't look like a 1P number. Stick to the premier exec lines. I've never come across agents that were just outright unpleasant using those.
Thanks for the advice. I'll stick to the elite lines, once my card arrives and I'm given the proper elite number (UA told me to call the 1-800 number I posted. I figured that since it was a robo-number with scarce human interaction, there was no harm in posting it.)
