No, I am saying that the Merrill+ terms and conditions spell out that one must purchase a "W" class fare, but I
do not know if it can be any W fare, such as W2US3, or if they require buying the highest W fare.
Sorry, I do not know how to see farecodes on ba.com. However, you can see them by using Travelocity or Expedia to research prices. Also, American Airlines' website aa.com will allow one to find fares and purchase tickets on many other carriers including BA, and the farecode is displayed near the end of the booking process if you view the fare rules.
