I'm staying here right now on a working weekend courtesy of a client, but I don't think the room that I am in (Deluxe King) is hardly worth $465 (web site price), unless you are very interested in using the spa, especially since you reside in Newport Beach anyway.
The room looks like the picture on the website. I have a Boise radio, DVD/CD/VCR player, good cable, comfy chair, small TV in bathroom, nice shower head, expensive minibar, no view of the ocean (costs $40 more), but that's about it. The balcony is too skinny to fit a chair on.
Nice fitness room. A brochure in the guest room warns me that the external jogging course "entails the usual hazards of urban jogging." Being from Chicago, I'm not sure what that means!
The business center cost me $7 to send a two-page domestic fax and $22 to download and print an 8 page-legal document (you probably don't care about that).
I am enjoying the food very much but I'm not paying for it. Every meal has been excellent. I noticed they have a Sunday brunch for $58.
