I guess I should have mentioned this was flying mid-week (depart Weds noon, return Thurs noon), off peak shuttle service, w/6 days notice. US Air $237 - Delta $435. Guess who won.
I even called Delta Cust Serv. The response "we don't match competitors fares, but we will look into it in regards to future pricing".
I understand that Delta and all of the airlines are in business to make money. I understand that all of the airlines are hurting right now. But it seems to me if you have a choice btw getting $237 for a seat and keeping a good customer or getting nothing for a seat and upseting a good customer, you would choose the former.
Am I missing something?
