I just went to book my favorite DL flight from SAN to ATL - DL 1966. This was a 763 with a BE section. It's gone from the schedule and replaced by DL 1022 - a 757.

Being able to fly in a BE seat between SAN and ATL has been one of the few remaining reasons that I have stayed with DL. With that gone and all the other changes, it's going to be hard to stay any longer.

Does anyone know if this change is permanent?

Any other SAN based FT members going to miss this flight?

They've been falling left and right... first, the non-stop to JFK started going via PHX, then disappeared for good. Now, the ATL flights are gone. Happily, it looks like 1985 and 1977 *from* ATL will live for a while, at least.

Consider doing what I do---hop the American Eagle flight to LAX and then fly a BE flight from there... this works espeically well when you're flying to the Northeast and can take the LAX/JFK flight. I actually prefer departing from the commuter terminal at SAN.
