Correct me if I am wrong ........The rainy season doesn't end 'till the weather office says it does , and goodness knows when that might be.'Vegas has better odds. Kyoto in summer.........it's freakishly hot and the air seems not to move. Be prepared to sweat. If you want "normal" summer weather go to Hokkaido. Don't come further West and South....it's Typhoon season ^ . I actually like going to Thailand or Bali in the summer. It seems less hot and I can enjoy the ocean breezes.
