This past monday, LAX-SFO AA flight, I was able to check-in online, but unable to print my BP. But was able to use the kiosk and got the BP with SSSS. Tho I travel quite a bit, this was my first experience with secondary screening in a couple years. Screener put my BP on top of X-Ray, gave me the patdown and said Thank you. After a couple beats, I asked if I could grab my BP off the x-ray. Was told no, no, no. They called the original screener back over and he promply put the stamps all over the BP.

It was not a busy time, but I would definitely consider requesting SS if I was in a crunch. I was thru quicker than anyone of the 5 pax in the regular screening.
